Overall Description
We are looking for a Development Team Lead to manage and lead our team of developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in leading teams and managing projects. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development process, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and mentoring team members to help them grow and succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.
• Allocate resources and manage workload to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Review code and provide feedback to team members to ensure that coding standards and best practices are followed.
• Mentor and coach team members, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development.
WordPress Development:
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
• Work closely with the design team to implement website designs and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Optimize WordPress websites for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security measures to protect our WordPress sites from vulnerabilities.
PHP Development:
• Develop and maintain PHP applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with the design team to integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in PHP development.
DevOps:
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our systems.
• Work with cloud services such as AWS or Azure to deploy and manage applications.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of our applications.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
