DevOps Engineer with CDN Configuration (Cloudflare) Expertise, Server Management (DigitalOcean, Vultr, UpCloud), Sports Streaming System Experience, Firewall Configuration, and Cache System Building
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with expertise in CDN configuration, particularly Cloudflare, as well as server management on platforms like DigitalOcean, Vultr, and UpCloud. Additionally, experience in soccer and sport streaming systems is desired. The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in setting up firewall configurations for both development and production environments and the ability to build and optimize cache systems. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and enhancing the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- CDN Configuration: Expertly configure and manage the CDN (Cloudflare) to optimize website performance, reduce latency, and enhance security. Utilize advanced Cloudflare features such as caching, load balancing, and SSL configuration.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using services like DigitalOcean, Vultr, and UpCloud. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure.
- Server Management: Manage servers on cloud platforms like DigitalOcean, Vultr, or UpCloud, including provisioning, monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. Ensure servers are properly configured for optimal performance and security.
- Firewall Configuration: Set up and maintain firewall configurations for both development and production environments. Implement security rules and access controls to protect the infrastructure and applications.
- Cache System Building: Design and build a robust cache system to improve application performance and reduce load on backend resources. Utilize caching mechanisms provided by the CDN or develop custom caching solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization. Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, including network latency, server response times, and database queries.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain strong security measures across the cloud infrastructure. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Automation and Configuration Management: Develop and maintain automated deployment, scaling, and monitoring solutions. Leverage configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to streamline processes.
- Continuous Integration and Deployment: Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for smooth and reliable application deployment. Ensure seamless integration between development and production environments.
- Sports Streaming System Experience: Apply your knowledge and experience in soccer and sports streaming systems to contribute to the development and enhancement of our sports streaming platform. Provide insights and recommendations to improve the user experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on cloud infrastructure management.
- Expertise in CDN configuration, particularly with Cloudflare, including advanced configurations, performance optimization, and security features.
- Proficiency in managing servers on cloud platforms like DigitalOcean, Vultr, or UpCloud.
- Strong understanding of firewall configuration for development and production environments.
- Experience in building and optimizing cache systems to improve application performance.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, load balancing, DNS management, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
- Proficient scripting and automation skills, using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Knowledge and experience in soccer and sports streaming systems, including streaming protocols, content delivery, and user engagement, would be a plus.
