Job Responsibility
– Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
– Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
– Verify that software meets functional, performance, and usability standards before release.
– Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve reported bugs.
– Maintain and update test documentation, ensuring traceability of testing activities.
– Conduct regression, integration, and system-level testing to ensure product stability.
– Report test results, track defects, and provide clear feedback to improve quality.
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Skills and experience
– >3 years of experience in software quality control or quality assurance testing
– Strong understanding of testing methodologies (e.g., manual testing, regression testing, etc.).
– Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management software (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
– Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments and processes.
– Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and reports.
– Keen attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
– Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar).
– Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test automation.
– Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
– Understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
– Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
Salary:
$2,000 – $3,500, depending on the candidate’s skills and experience.
